Purpose:

Northern Ireland Hospice Education Programme

An opportunity for GPs to meet with local Macmillan Facilitators and Palliative Care Consultants and find out about support available from Cancer charities.

Aim: To improve patient care for patients with end of life issues

Objectives:

• To be able to manage common symptoms
• To identify service issues around communication

Venue: Lodge Health Centre, Coleraine

An internationally renowned expert on tobacco and health will visit Northern Ireland on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th November to support the Ulster Cancer Foundation (UCF) as it campaigns for the fulfilment of its ‘Vision for a Tobacco Free Northern Ireland’.
